The work:

Our growing System Engineering Team is seeking an Alfresco Engineer with strong communication and leadership skills to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of new and existing deployments of Alfresco.  In this position, you will navigate a complex work environment and own client relationships and manage processes within their environment to deploy and sustain a variety of Alfresco services.  This role provides Alfresco System Engineering support for the installation and maintenance of Alfresco Content Services (ACS), Alfresco Process Services (APS), and Alfresco Governance Services (AGS) in Linux/Windows ecosystems.  You will be collaborating with our Accenture Federal Services System Engineering and Development teams in the integration of Alfresco to our existing enterprise software solutions. 

You are: 

Alfresco Systems Engineer

  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance for Alfresco Governance Services (AGS), Alfresco Process Service (APS), and Alfresco Content System (ACS) within a Windows and Linux ecosystems.
  • Provide Alfresco expertise and best practices for a new implementation of Alfresco as an enterprise digital asset and content management system.
  • Conduct system administration duties such as setup, on-going configuration, including but not limited to installation, configuration, patching, customization, and to apply and maintain DoD security STIG compliance.
  • Own all tasks to integrate Alfresco and external enterprise task management tools.
  • Experience integrating Alfresco with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) via Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication.
  • Ability to manage and maintain Alfresco workflows, data separation rules, and permission structures.
  • Prepare “as-is” and “to-be” network and process diagrams.
  • Prepare visual representations suitable for publication and use in strategic communications.
  • Perform daily Alfresco sustainment.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to optimize system processes and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct desk-side support for client technical support staff.

Here's what you need:

  • Experience in Alfresco content management system administration and Linux system administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Tomcat, Apache Solr, and Linux operating system.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ Certification

Eligibility Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Security clearance: Active Secret and clearable up to a Top Secret 

Bonus Points:

  • Alfresco Content Services Certified Engineer (ACSCE)
  • Alfresco Cloud implementation experience

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and    

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role: CL8

  • California: $67,200 - $120,000
  • Colorado: $95,600 - $154,300
  • New York: $88,600 - $178,600
  • Washington State: $101,900 - $164,400
