Job Title: Analytics Consultant (Alteryx / MS Access Migration)
Location Charlotte, NC (3 days in/ 2 days remote)
Duration 4+ months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement-No C2C

Project Overview

This contractor will support the Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) team by identifying existing reports built in Microsoft Access and converting them into scalable Alteryx workflows. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to understand legacy report logic, and hands-on experience rebuilding complex SQL-driven reporting in modern tools.

Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and assess MS Access reports requiring migration to Alteryx.
  • Analyze underlying Access queries, formulas, SQL statements, and data structures.
  • Recreate, optimize, and validate report logic in Alteryx.
  • Ensure data accuracy and output consistency between old and new reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with CMS business users to clarify requirements and gather missing details.
  • Document workflows, logic, and enhancements for ongoing support.
  • Contribute to broader analytics initiatives requiring deep evaluation of multi-faceted data challenges.

Top Skills Required


  • Alteryx (2 4 Years): Ability to rebuild reports and workflows from legacy systems.
  • Complex SQL (6+ Years): Strong capability to interpret and translate complex SQL logic.
  • Microsoft Access (2 4 Years): Skilled at reviewing internal report designs, queries, and data linkages.
