Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Android Mobile Application Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role requires deep knowledge of Android SDK, mobile UX design, and modern development best practices.

Duties:

  • Design and develop advanced Android applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and back-end developers to define app features and functionality.
  • Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and RESTful services to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across a range of Android devices.
  • Conduct unit testing and support QA in identifying and resolving bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation through version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure apps remain modern and competitive.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals).
  • Proficiency in Liquid templates, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience working with web templates, content snippets, and dynamic page rendering.
  • Understanding of web accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with portal development in public sector or large enterprise environments is a plus.
