Job Overview:
We are seeking an Animator/Motion Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of consumer software applications for platform services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in the classic principles of animation, be a brilliant problem solver, a quick learner, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator. This role requires a passion for great design and the ability to bring it to life. From brainstorming to implementation, the Animator/Motion Designer will collaborate with team members, as well as engineering, marketing, and QA groups. The candidate should possess strong animation, motion design, compositing, and 3D skills and be ready to take software design to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to create engaging animations and motion designs.
• Apply classic animation principles to develop high-quality motion graphics and 3D designs.
• Utilize tools such as After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D, and render engines like Octane, Arnold, and RedShift.
• Deliver solid work on tight schedules while managing multiple projects independently.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in animation, motion graphics, compositing, and 3D design.
• Strong foundation and understanding of all classic animation principles.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D, and render engines such as Octane, Arnold, and RedShift.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent collaborative skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Highly professional with effective time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Range: $85 - $95/hour

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
