Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and developing code to deliver functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
• Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset
• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements, estimating work, defect triage, code deployment and production release activities
• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria
• Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Technology in application development using Java/J2EE, Unix Shell Scripting, REST APIs, Angular
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Angular, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform 4.x, Cloud Edition (PCE), Java 8+, Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience working with RDBMS: Oracle 11g / SQL Server
• Strong in DB SQL language
• Hands on experience in Angular, Mule implementation including Design, Development and Implementation
• Experience in writing mUnit Tests
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible / Tower)
• Experience working in Agile development process and tools like Jira
• Strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated to learn on the job and demonstrate important skills like communication, teamwork, accountability & ownership
• Ability to work with global teams
• Ability and willingness to learn on the job

Desired skills:

• DB Stored procedure & functions
• Mule certification

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68
