Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintenance of the eLedger SAP platform working as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/guidance
• Expected to further build upon domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise and look for ways to improve system stability including monitoring opportunities, bug fixes, and application changes
• Work on an SLA driven production environment to support monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close process
• Support SAP BW and BPC application and resolve production downtime situations under tight SLA deadlines
• Responsible for Essbase reporting application support
• Manage business queries and requests
• Responsible for the overall stability of SAP BW and BPC systems including bug fixes, monitoring and application changes
• Perform Disaster Recovery exercise and Application Resiliency Certification (ARC) tests
• Provide support for planned maintenance activities for the application
• Support to troubleshoot issues in production environment

Requirements:

• Intensive hands on experience of SAP Business Warehouse7.x, SAP BPC and BW4HANA
• Knowledge on basic ABAP skill for debugging Routines, additional advantage for ABAP for HANA DB experience
• SAP BPC Technical knowledge about creation of BPC models and Dimensions, maintaining Logic Scripts, Conversion Files, Transformation files, Packages, etc.
• Good working knowledge on EPM and BEx Reports
• Experience in Native HANA Data modeling: building Calculation Views, Exposure on Layered Architecture, HDB Tables
• Experience with SAP HANA data modeling, schema management, content import and export, data provisioning technology including SAP LT Replication Server and Data Services
• Experience working with traditional SAP BW and SAP BW on HANA features
• Experience in overall data design of the BW project, to include the design of the BW Info Cubes (Basic Cubes, Multi-cubes, Remote cubes, and Aggregates), BW ODS Objects
• Good analytical reporting skills and advance Data Modelling skills
• Excellent attitude and communication skills
• Adaptable to change and ready to learn and start supporting multiple applications
• Excellent analytical skills and understanding of business process, and the ability to work in a highly customized SAP Applications Environment
• A self-driven person with strong drive and motivation
• An innovative thinker and problem solver
• A team player and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
• A self-starter, motivated, innovative, capable of handling a team, providing technical solutions and be flexible in work hours
• Ability to deal with complex information, processes, and relationships to derive a simple solution
• Experience with automation and simplification of tasks
• Solid knowledge in SAP BW, BPC and HANA with experience in the Finance Module

• SAP BPC
• SAP S/4 HANA

Desired skills:

• Finance background
• Relevant SAP BW/BPC/HANA certifications

Pay Range: $60.24-$68.24
