Application Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Mountain View, CA that is seeking an Application Project Manager.

The Application Project Manager will lead the following activities:
* Scrum Master/Project Leader role for our backend team
* Tight coordination with the app team, and various intercompany technical teams such as US engineering and Japan engineering
* Align spec interfaces, use cases, schedules
* Manage tasks, schedules, dependencies
* Help prepare any documents, flows, content necessary for GTM/ release
* Make Jira dashboards where helpful
* Understand API spec and make sure each party is doing what they agreed to do
* Possibly conduct quick tests using Postman to verify (does not need to be too deep)
* Understand architecture, help write sequence diagrams to align among parties
* Identify deficiencies in technical requirements and work with engineering/architects to define/ improve the requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
* Bilingual Japanese/English skills is highly preferred, but not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
