Job Details
All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments and governmental regulations.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex software applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from Tier 1 support, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify or establish root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Monitor system health and performance using APM tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar technologies.
- Analyze application logs, traces, and metrics to diagnose performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for incidents, root cause analyses, and resolutions.
- Deploy applications to QA and production environments.
- Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and processes to improve incident resolution efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Experience (Required)
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in application support, application development, systems administration, or similar technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace), and ALM processes.
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM):
- Strong understanding of ALM concepts, including SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Kubernetes (k8s):
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for troubleshooting containerized applications.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes components such as pods, services, deployments, and ingress controllers.
- Source Code Analysis:
- Ability to read and analyze source code in languages like C#, Javascript, Python, etc.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM):
- Proficiency in using APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, etc.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and escalate them effectively.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes as required by the role.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and problem-solving.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
