Job Details
Role: Devops Application Support
Location: Denver CO (Onsite)
Long Term
Key Skills: AWS, Oracle with strong SQL, Tibco (nice to have), Splunk, APM tools (AppDynamics and Datadog preferred) and DevOps tools
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support, with a roadmap to eventually take on Level 3 responsibilities.
- Collaborate with development and cloud engineering teams to support and troubleshoot the new AWS-based AOM platform.
- Monitor and respond to incidents using APM tools such as AppDynamics and Datadog.
- Utilize Splunk for log analysis, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure smooth functioning of cloud services, databases, and workflows using DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including:
- Amazon EMR
- Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)
- Amazon S3
- Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka
- Amazon DocumentDB
- Amazon VPC
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark
- Good working knowledge of Java Spring Boot
- Solid command of SQL and experience with Oracle databases
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Exposure to Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools, particularly AppDynamics and Datadog
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Tibco
- Prior background in cloud operations or support teams
