Your Key Responsibilities
- Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade
- Work closely with a Journeyperson in maintaining production stamping tooling in a timely and efficient manner and developing prototype/production stamping dies
- Work closely with a Journeyperson in programming, set-up and running CNC equipment in a tool room environment
- Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Hands-on learner
- Blueprint reading
- CNC machining
- Accuracy in measurement
- Metal cutting practices
- Math
- Enthusiastic about their career in skilled trades
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Positive work ethic
- Problem solving skills
