  • App Modernization & Cloud Solutions Architect Job Description (10 Key Lines)
  • This role is for a senior professional with over 13 years of experience in development and application modernization.
  • Lead and manage teams of 5+ members, providing technical guidance for application modernization projects.
  • Spearhead the migration and modernization of applications to the Azure PaaS platform, with deep expertise in various services.
  • Design, host, and optimize applications using Azure PaaS services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Possess a strong, hands-on background in web application development and hosting, with a focus on cloud-native solutions.
  • Containerize web applications and services, and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of hosting containerized apps on Kubernetes.
  • Analyze application dependencies and architecture to plan effective migration scenarios and pathways.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration teams to ensure cloud adoption aligns with best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive application performance assessments both before and after migration to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop robust cloud solutions that cover business, application, and infrastructure aspects while ensuring strong value for money.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within the Azure PaaS platform..
