NON-SCHEDULED DAYS: Saturday/Sunday
HOURS: 08:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M.

Functional Purpose
Manages component work for the Chief Information Office (CIO) organization that forms the foundation of enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. Develops design patterns and solutions which include components across the Artificial Intelligence spectrum such as Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services including Vision / Image and Textual / Language processing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Architects enterprise design patterns and assists functional groups to define and implement solutions which include components across the Artificial Intelligence spectrum such as Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services including Vision / Image and Textual / Language processing.
2. Creates architecture deliverables describing AI components in sufficient detail to develop bills of materials, technology components, vendor components, cost estimations and design parameters suitable for handoff to implementation teams.
3. Documents criteria for proposed solutions, including the rationale, technical approach, and assumptions that were made during development, and additional content that explains why the solution is recommended, risks and mitigation plan to resolve the identified organizational requirement.
4. Creates, publishes and communicates AI procedures, standards, design patterns and reference architectures that define repeatable solutions.
5. Identifies training and development needs required to support Artificial Intelligence based solutions; develops materials for training and awareness and delivers messages to intended audience.
6. Interfaces with vendors to ensure standard architectures are adhered to and implemented for projects within a specific technology area.
7. Develops, designs and reviews infrastructure and application solutions ensuring solution designs are consistent with the overall architecture for enterprise applications and defined technology standards, policies, processes and best industry practices.
8. Researches and analyzes the technology industry and market trends relating to Artificial Intelligence technologies to determine potential impact upon the IT enterprise; makes recommendations to capitalize on trends and industry best practice.
9. Provides leadership and technical assistance as an CIO SWAT team member to management and systems professionals engaged in problem solving regarding the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of business information systems.

Requirements
1. Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, sufficient to develop and present management briefings; provide written and/or verbal guidance on technical issues; and prepare/present recommendations and reports.
2. Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and evaluate existing and proposed business systems and procedures, develop requirements and identify system solutions in detailed measurable terms that achieve optimum performance and cost effectiveness.
3. Experience leading the design, development and deployment of performant cloud business software at scale or current hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
4. Expert knowledge of cloud services from one or more of the primary Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) (i.e., Amazon, Microsoft or Google).
5. Ability to integrate cloud services with on premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, Linux, SAP, etc.
6. Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements in a regulated environment such as SOX and PCI.
7. Knowledge of industry developments, business information systems and practices, development methods, procedures, standards, techniques, Agile application life cycle, test driven development, continuous integration of code development, and current Artificial Intelligence technologies.
8. Knowledge of information systems enterprise-wide architecture including knowledge of a wide range of foundational technology such as Artificial Intelligence, servers and storage, virtualization, high availability, performance analysis and management, and enterprise infrastructure monitoring for highly available web-scale systems.
9. Ability to develop design patterns and solutions across the Artificial Intelligence spectrum (e.g., Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Machine Learning, Cognitive Services including Vision / Image and Textual / Language processing).
