Job Details
Talent Space is seeking a consulting Aruba Network Engineer to join our global Network Storage client. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work onsite at the client's corporate offices in the vibrant city of Redmond, WA. Responsibilities
- Be physically present on-site in Seattle to provide expert support to the customer.
- Act as an HPE Aruba Networking subject matter expert, ensuring the customer's infrastructure is current and optimized.
- Perform routine network checks to maintain high standards.
- Support customer in network migrations and integrations.
- Update and modify documentation and processes as needed.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve cases efficiently.
- Identify potential issues, monitor tasks, and provide updates.
- Work closely with key stakeholders on ongoing projects, ensuring successful execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
- 5 years of work experience in a related field.
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Wireless experience, including site surveys and wireless design.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with HPE Aruba product portfolio: Switching, Routing, AOS8 & AOS10, Wireless AP and IAP, Controllers, SD-WAN, User Experience Insight, HPE Aruba AirWave, Aruba ClearPass and ClearPass extensions, Aruba Central, and Aruba Meridian.
- Strong background in pure networking (LAN-WAN-WLAN).
- Basic business acumen and skills in root cause analysis and problem detection.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, change management skills, and the ability to collaborate with product and support teams.
- Prior design and operations experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment with quick turnaround times.
- Must have prior consulting experience.
