RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Oakland, CA that is seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven Business Analyst to join their HR Analytics team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a passion for data to expand their expertise in Business Intelligence tools, SQL, and advanced analytics while contributing to impactful, people-focused insights.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role
* The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
* Should be a skilled communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* We are looking for someone who demonstrates a balance of quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* A background in HR, people analytics, or related functions is a plus, but a proven ability to learn quickly and apply analytical rigor is equally valued
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools
* Effective presentation skills, with the ability to communicate insights to varied audiences
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Project, Visio, or similar software
* Foundational experience with Business Intelligence tools and SQL, with interest in further developing these skills
* Highly adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments under demanding deadlines
* Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
