- Job Title: Associate Director Modern Workplace

- Role Summary
The Associate Director Modern Workplace will provide strategic and operational leadership for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Modern Workplace solutions. This role is responsible for driving Microsoft 365, collaboration, endpoint, and digital employee experience initiatives while ensuring security, compliance, and high user adoption. The Associate Director will partner closely with clients, business leaders, and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric workplace solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the Modern Workplace strategy aligned with business and digital transformation goals
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and customers on workplace modernization initiatives
Lead and mentor high-performing engineering, architecture, and service delivery teams
Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across workplace platforms
Delivery & Operations
Oversee end-to-end delivery of Modern Workplace services including:
Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Endpoint Management (Intune, Autopilot, Windows, macOS, mobile devices)
Identity & Access (Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA)
Collaboration, productivity, and digital employee experience tools
Ensure service excellence through SLAs, KPIs, operational governance, and incident management
Manage large-scale migrations, rollouts, and modernization programs
Security & Compliance
Partner with security teams to implement Zero Trust and secure workplace architectures
Ensure compliance with regulatory, data protection, and enterprise security standards
Drive adoption of security best practices such as device compliance, data loss prevention, and endpoint security
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Collaborate with business leaders, HR, security, and infrastructure teams
Present roadmap, metrics, and value realization to executive leadership
Support pre-sales, solution design, and proposal development as needed
Financial & Vendor Management
Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
Oversee vendor relationships, licensing optimization, and contract negotiations
Drive productivity and value through automation and standardization
Required Qualifications
Experience
12+ years of overall IT experience with 6+ years in Modern Workplace / End User Computing leadership roles
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 and endpoint transformation programs
Strong background in IT service management, operations, and delivery governance
Technical Skills
Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online
Strong knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management
Experience with identity, access management, and security controls
Familiarity with digital employee experience and automation tools
Leadership & Soft Skills
Strong people leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365 Enterprise Administrator, Security, or Endpoint certifications)
Experience in consulting, managed services, or large enterprise environments
Exposure to change management, adoption, and user experience programs
