RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Zero Trust Engineer in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Summary:
The Associate Zero Trust Engineer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of zero trust principles and strategies. This includes implementing solutions that are compliant with the defined security requirements, participating in zero trust implementation projects, and utilizing technology in support of the zero trust initiatives. The role involves maintaining technical documentation, reporting progress towards Zero Trust as measured by the zero trust maturity model. Additionally, the Engineer will participate as a resource in projects that implement technical solutions to meet zero trust requirements, coordinate with other teams and advocate for zero trust.
Duties and Job Responsibilities:
* Participating in security requirements assessments and recommendations
* Operational management of key zero trust enabling technologies such as Secure Service Edge capabilities
* Managing, resolving, and escalating of service requests
* Serve as a resource for zero trust projects
* Security best practices
* Security Automation
* Zero trust principles and implementation strategies
* Technology serving zero trust pillars
* Monitor and report on progress towards Zero Trust
* Participate in solution analysis and comparison to as it relates to zero trust maturity model (Five pillars: Identity, Device, Network/Environment, Application Workload, and Data)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 2 years of experience in information technology
* 1 year of experience in information security
* Experience with web, endpoint, and email data loss prevention solutions
* Support Zero Trust components and services such as DLP, Sandbox, ATP, CASB, Browser Isolation, Private Access App Connectors, URL and Cloud Application Control
* Knowledge of complex enterprise environments including the implementation and troubleshooting of security solutions
* Knowledge in a broad range of security platforms/tools and services/components like Next Generation Firewall (NGFW), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Security Posture Management (SPM), Vulnerability Assessment (VA), Attack Surface Management (ASM), etc.
* Knowledge of multi-cloud environments, cloud-native services, complex integrations
* Broad knowledge of information security principles and practices
* Understanding of the threat landscape facing enterprise healthcare
* Understanding of the regulatory requirements impacting healthcare
* Knowledge of security incident response processes
* Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, including provisioning and authentication
* Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail and high commitment to quality
* Participate in the writing/creation of formal documentation such as reports, slide decks, and architecture diagrams
* Ability to perform work independently with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
* Ability to identify security risks, assess gaps and implement solutions
* Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
* Ability to write and maintain technical documentation, including reference architectures and implementation plans
Preferred:
* Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
* 5+ years of experience in information technology
* 1+ years of experience in information security
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
