Controls Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Controls Engineer with Software (PLC programming) experience to join our team, specializing in semiconductor manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation controls systems to enhance production efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation control systems for semiconductor equipment
  • Implement PLC ladder logic to improve process control
  • Design and optimize HMI interfaces for user-friendly operation
  • Develop and maintain systems control documentation
  • Utilize state machines for effective process management
  • Manage power distribution and management within automated systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation controls and systems
  • Review and analyze schematics to ensure proper control system functionality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in automation controls engineering, preferably in semiconductor industry
  • Strong knowledge of PLC ladder logic and HMI design principles
  • Experience with systems control and state machine design
  • Familiarity with power management techniques
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
