Job Details

Senior or Staff-level Embedded/Systems Engineer specializing in Autonomous Vehicle (AV) platform development.

Mountain View, CA, USA

12+ Months Contract

The core focus is on the low-level software and systems integration required to make the self-driving computer hardware and sensors function reliably and securely within the vehicle.

Required Qualifications:

Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Programming: Strong proficiency and experience writing high-performance code in C++.

Networking: Expertise with core networking protocols (TCP, UDP, gRPC) and experience with CAN bus protocols.

Operating Systems: Deep understanding of Linux networking and systems troubleshooting.

System Passion: A strong desire to work at the low-level hardware/software interface and deliver robust, efficient code.

Desirable (A Strong Plus):

Experience with advanced automotive protocols (SOME/IP, UDS) or specialized Ethernet (Base-T1).

Familiarity with various AV sensors (Lidars, Radars, Cameras).

Experience with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), PTP, or gPTP.
