Location: Washington, D.C (Day one onsite)

Duration : Long Term Contract

Job Description.

Architecting and implementing cloud-native and hybrid solutions. Serve as a technical anchor and architectural lead across Agile teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

Facilitate architectural decision-making during Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Leading technical engagements and translating business requirements into robust architectural designs. Define and maintain solution architecture blueprints, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across cloud-native and hybrid environments

Lead the evaluation and selection of technology stacks, frameworks, and integration patterns, particularly for microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) .

Provide hands-on support for critical components, including code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

Promoting enterprise integration standards and reusable patterns.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure cohesive and user-centric solutions

Driving modernization efforts such as legacy system migration and DevSecOps adoption

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline with 7 years hands on experience

Extensive experience architecting and implementing cloud-native and hybrid solutions, with demonstrated expertise in leading complex technical projects from conception through delivery.

Proven software development experience, ideally as a senior developer or technical lead, with a track record of delivering scalable and secure solutions.

Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as experience with microservices, APIs, and DevSecOps practices.

Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Serve as a technical anchor and architectural lead across Agile teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to define sprint goals, prioritize backlog items, and ensure architectural considerations are embedded in sprint planning

Facilitate architectural decision-making during Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Proven software development background (e.g., experience as a developer or technical lead) to effectively guide and support an engineering team.

Serve as a technical anchor and architectural lead across Agile teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

Facilitate architectural decision-making during Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders concurrently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and stakeholder alignment.Adherence to standards, for the timely and quality delivery of artifacts.
