Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Cloud Engineer/Administrator! The Role

The Azure Cloud Administrator role administrators, implements, monitors, and maintains Microsoft Azure solutions. These include major services related to computer, storage, network, and security. They will work as a part of a team and know about implementing cloud infrastructure. The Administrator role is also responsible for working with other Azure and IT professionals to maintain Azure networking, application development, DevOps solutions, and security.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Managing and deploying Azure solutions Troubleshooting and resolving Azure services-related issues Configuring Azure services to meet the needs of the organization Designing and managing swap space in the cloud environment Maintaining azure profiles and subscriptions Setting up private and public cloud environments Balancing and deploying workloads Implementing and managing cost-effective cloud systems

Includes the following responsibilities: Managing and configuring virtual machines. Deploy virtual machines into virtual networks and create backups to provide disaster recovery, among other responsibilities. o Data Storage Protect data against threats and unauthorized access. Ensure that data is backed up at regular intervals. o Networking Manage public and private IP addresses. Responsibilities also include deploying and configuring virtual networks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or mathematics is highly desired. A minimum 5 years of experience managing cloud networks. A minimum of nine years of experience will be considered without a degree.

In-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of cloud computing services, that includes knowing networking, servers, databases, and software in Cloud. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft. Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Office 365. Expertise in programming languages used in Azure, including JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL server. Running virtual machines in the Cloud Creating and managing data backups Ensuring compliances Configuring archival storage Maintaining and implementing storage solutions Securing Azure solutions Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes Thorough knowledge of networking tasks along with expertise in Azure networking stack Reducing vulnerabilities in Azure Excellent logical and problem-solving abilities. Microsoft training and certification will be considered a strong asset. Self-motivated and self-directed. Very high attention to detail. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
