Job Details
Position: Azure Data Engineer - Lead/Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
JD:
Current setup: Azure Data Factory, Azure Git, Azure SQLDB(warehouse),PowerBl
all managed by a lean tech team.
Objective: Migrate to Microsoft Fabric(evaluating options such as Synapse),with a "lift and shift " foundation plus strategic optimizations for performance and scalability.
Key priorities:
Minimize non-performant data movement, improve scalability, and integrate external structured datasets.
Skills required potentially:
" SQL, Python, Azure Synapse, MSFabric, Strategic thinking and experience, AzureGit, Cl/CD on Azure, Various Azure services such as ADF, Databricks, Managed identities etc.
" Experience with similar projects
" Problem solving capabilities
" In-depth understanding of various system designs and approaches
" Ability to work with various experience level resource within data team
" Start to finish framework, documentation and execution accountability
" Insurance experience(preferred).
