Role: Big Data Modeler / Architect (FX Domain)

Location: Boston, MA

Role Description:

The team is involved in the build-out of a Data Lakehouse using Databricks for the FX business line.

They are setting up the Databricks infrastructure and soon will start building ingestion pipelines into the Bronze Zone.

Additionally, they will design the data model for the Silver Zone and handle data migration from Bronze to Silver.

The candidate must be a senior data professional with expertise in building data lakehouses from scratch, especially in FX/Financial Services.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in Big Data Modeling/Architecture
• Proficiency in building Data Lakehouses using Databricks
• Expertise in data modeling, particularly in the FX/Financial Services domain
• Knowledge of Big Data Platforms (Cloudera, Databricks), Big Data Technologies (Scala, Impala, etc.), Data Modeling & Data Architecture
• Experience in Financial Services, with FX Domain knowledge preferred
