Job Description
This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a well-known printing company located in NW Industrial Portland as a Print Production Lead.
Are you in print production for bindery and ready to take the next step in your career? We re looking for someone with solid bindery machine operation skills who wants to grow into a supervisory role.
As the Print Production Lead, you ll be responsible for running and maintaining key bindery equipment including folders, cutters, trimmers, and stitchers. You'll ensure high-quality production by setting up machines, performing regular quality checks, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Print Production Lead Duties:
- Set up and operate bindery equipment (folders, cutters, stitchers, trimmers, etc.)
- Review job tickets and specifications to ensure accurate machine setup
- Perform in-process quality checks to maintain print and binding standards
- Adjust machines during runs to correct alignment, trimming, or binding issues
- Feed materials into machines and monitor for jams or errors
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
Pay: $20-30
Print Production Lead Requirements:
- Experience in set up and operate bindery machines
- Monitor production processes
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning
- Follow production schedules
- Maintain accurate production records
