Role: Biztalk Admin
Location: New Jersey
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft BizTalk Server environments.
Monitor BizTalk infrastructure, performance, and health using tools like BizTalk360, SCOM, or custom dashboards.
Manage deployments of BizTalk applications, orchestrations, pipelines, and schemas.
Troubleshoot and resolve BizTalk-related issues (suspended messages, failures, performance bottlenecks).
Configure and maintain BizTalk adapters (WCF, FTP, SFTP, MSMQ, SAP, SQL, etc.).
Manage BizTalk SQL Server databases (jobs, backups, maintenance).
Collaborate with development teams for deployment and support of BizTalk solutions.
Ensure system security, compliance, and adherence to SLAs.
Provide 24/7 on-call support for production environments (if required).
Maintain documentation for BizTalk infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
3 7+ years of experience in BizTalk Server administration.
Strong knowledge of BizTalk architecture, messaging, orchestrations, pipelines, schemas.
Hands-on experience with BizTalk adapters (File, WCF, FTP/SFTP, SAP, SQL, MSMQ, etc.).
Experience managing BizTalk in clustered/production environments.
Proficiency with SQL Server (queries, jobs, maintenance plans).
Familiarity with IIS, Windows Server, PowerShell scripting.
Experience with monitoring tools (BizTalk360, SCOM, App Insights).
Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise middleware concepts.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-have)
Experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Familiarity with cloud migration of BizTalk workloads.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
