Job Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 24 months
Location: Oakland County, MI
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
- Develop business requirements, use cases, and test scripts following industry best practices.
- Organize and facilitate application testing and user acceptance to ensure business needs are met.
- Support programmers in identifying user needs and adapting procedures to final program design.
- Act as second and third-level support for production incidents; coordinate troubleshooting and closure of reported issues with internal teams and vendors.
- Assist in upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements of applications.
- Participate in multiple projects and internal initiatives simultaneously.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualification:
- 4+ years as a Business Analyst in IT application services or enterprise environments.
- Business Analysis Skills: Proven ability in business process re-engineering, requirements gathering, documentation, use case development, and test script creation.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint Online).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Testing/UAT: Experience organizing and facilitating application testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Incident Management: Background in supporting production systems, troubleshooting incidents, and coordinating resolution with vendors/teams.
- CRM Exposure: Familiarity with enterprise CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) is desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to multi-task.
