Job Title: Business Analyst- UAT
Job Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid), Akron, OH (Hybrid), Detroit, MI (Hybrid), Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $63/hr-$75/hr
Contract Length: 3 Months (Contract-to-Hire)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support the development of a UAT Playbook and Automation strategy for the Elite Loan Origination System (LOS). This role will work closely with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and QA teams to understand feature functionality, identify regression testing needs, and build a comprehensive UAT playbook. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Business Banking/Commercial business processes, risk-based testing approaches, and experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Product Owners to review feature documentation, demo recordings, and other artifacts to gain a deep understanding of the Elite capabilities.
Create and maintain a capability matrix to identify cross-impacts and regression testing needs.
Work with QA teams to understand the scope of System Integration Testing (SIT) and determine overlap with UAT.
Collaborate with SMEs to identify relevant business use cases for regression testing.
Develop a UAT playbook outlining required regression scenarios, aligned with capability types and risk thresholds.
Apply a low-to-moderate risk framework to recommend breadth and depth of UAT regression testing.
Lead stakeholder reviews and validation of UAT strategy and playbook.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a testing or product development environment of a Salesforce Financial Services Cloud application, specifically supporting Business Banking and/or Commercial lines of business.
Strong understanding of business process modeling and risk-based testing approaches.
Experience in creating documentation such as capability matrices, workflows, and test scenarios.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with loan origination systems or financial services platforms.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of UAT and SIT testing frameworks.
Experience in automation strategy development.
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including QA, SMEs, and product owners.
