Title: DGM Business Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months (Extendable)


A Digital Grid Management Business Analyst will work closely with the assigned project manager/s and the DGM Infrastructure Management Function Lead to help with ticket creation for infrastructure services, work with other technology teams to understand their Infrastructure needs and perform data entry into the project financial system at the direction and guidance of the project manager/s. The right candidate should be analytical, with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues. They must have skills to plan and schedule their own work activities and coordinate activities with other team members to meet goals. Usage of excel is required to be successful in this position.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in Infrastructure services
  • 2+ years experience in Excel, Visio, and MS Project
  • 2+ years of project experience
  • Deliver architecture, engineering or build documentation that can be used to articulate infrastructure solutions to Application Architects, Engineers, Operations and the application owners
  • Position requires collaboration skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with other technology teams including application development, testing, operations, security and compliance and project management office, as well as business customers and external vendors
  • Ability to communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation with Microsoft Office and Visio.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues in order to deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Provides advice to participants; serves as a liaison; acts as a resource person by performing research, analyzing information, providing documentation, and preparing reports.
  • Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis to communicate to the project manager/s
  • Participate in Capex project budget planning and development.
  • Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with the following technologies: JIRA, VMware, Windows, Linux, Oracle, SQL
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as maintaining documentation on Confluence, and assist in maintaining serial number tracker for Hardware and Software
