Position Title: Business Analyst - FICO Blaze (GuidingCare)
Location: 100% Remote (EST/CST preferred)
Type: Contract Only
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with deep expertise in FICO Blaze Business Rules Engine within GuidingCare. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, updating, and optimizing rule tables to support a critical deliverable by December 15, 2025. This role requires strong business and systems analysis skills, the ability to work across teams, and proven experience in healthcare systems and HIPAA compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Perform complex system analyses on applications and services, with a focus on FICO Blaze in GuidingCare.

Design, implement, and optimize business rules and rule tables for critical enterprise deliverables.

Lead product and service evaluations; recommend tools and platforms to improve user efficiency.

Implement new technologies to enhance organizational efficiency and care management capabilities.

Collaborate directly with stakeholders, including executive management, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Partner with internal and external teams to improve data collection and analysis capabilities.

Manage product licenses, ensure compliance with IT regulations, and provide cost-saving recommendations.
Qualifications
Required:
-
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.

3+ years of hands-on experience with FICO Blaze Business Rules Engine in GuidingCare.

Proven expertise in FICO setup, rule design, and optimization within GuidingCare.

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare systems.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, remote, cross-functional environments.
Preferred:

Advanced degree (Master s or higher).

Experience with architecture, data structures, and systems integration.

Knowledge of project management best practices.

Proficiency in analyzing security patterns and audit reports.
