Job Description:
Value technology looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking & Financial Services, specifically with Smart Dispute Management experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid mix of technical and functional expertise in areas such as card ledger systems, API integrations, ITIL service management, and stakeholder coordination. This is a full-time W2 opportunity with Value Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to Smart Dispute Management systems.
- Lead analysis in areas such as Card Ledger Dispute Management, ITIL processes, API design/integration, and stakeholder coordination.
- Support end-to-end implementation and improvements of BPM workflows using tools such as Pega BPM or equivalent.
- Work closely with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.
- Utilize data tools like SQL and Splunk for reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Document business processes, create use cases, and manage project documentation using JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
- Engage in finance-related business processes and security (Fraud/Cyber Security) considerations where relevant.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Finance.
- Must have experience with Smart Dispute Management systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of Pega BPM or other BPM tools.
- 5+ years of experience with Card Ledger systems and Dispute Management processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience using Splunk for data analysis.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in ITIL service management (change/problem management).
- Experience with API integration and related tools (Postman, Apigee preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management and a solid understanding of finance operations.
- Bonus: Background or exposure to security, fraud detection, or cybersecurity environments.
