Job Description: Business Analyst Medicare Domain
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long-term
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong expertise in the Medicare domain to support healthcare payer initiatives. The BA will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to define business requirements, document processes, and ensure successful delivery of system enhancements or regulatory changes.
Responsibilities:
- Engage business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to Medicare Advantage, Part D, and other CMS-driven programs.
- Analyze Medicare policies, CMS guidelines, and regulatory updates to translate them into system or process requirements.
- Create BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and User Stories.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations, CMS HPMS, MARx system, and Plan Benefit Package (PBP) processes.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology; ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and Excel.
- Experience with Medicare Star Ratings, Risk Adjustment (RAF scores), or HEDIS.
