RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client has an immediate need for a Business Analyst P&C for a 6+ month Contract assignment. This role is on site in New Haven, CT 5 days a week. A local Connecticut candidate is highly preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of business analysis experience in the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry
* Experience with integration to external systems
* Strong experience with policy administration solutions
* Experience with iterative and agile methodologies; Working knowledge of both SDLC & PMLC processes
* Hands-on experience writing business requirements, functional requirements or user stories, business process diagrams, and data rules required
* Knowledge and experience in reviewing, reengineering or developing IT solutions for business process/improvements automation
* Experience with visualization tools is beneficial
* Experience with troubleshooting system issues
* Experience with Guidewire Policy Center
* Experience using standard project and business tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
* Team player who works well with technical and business resources
* Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
* Possess personal time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlines
* On site full-time is required, no relocation
* Local to Connecticut
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
