Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to address business challenges and leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving operational efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities:
Partner with stakeholders to identify business challenges and explore data-driven solutions to address regulatory inquiries and operational questions.
Translate complex business problems into actionable analysis and assist stakeholders in interpreting results to implement strategic steps.
Work closely with Data Architects to design and deploy business intelligence tools that enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of advanced dashboards, reports, queries, and AI-driven applications.
Evaluate business requirements and share insights with users, offering training to ensure effective adoption of BI tools and reports.
Proactively initiate projects aimed at identifying opportunities for growth, risk reduction, and improving operational efficiency.
Communicate findings and strategies to senior management and enterprise staff to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends and tools to continuously improve analytical methods and business intelligence practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 2-3 years of experience working in a Broker/Dealer, Investment Adviser, or similar financial services role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of fundamental statistical principles.
Strong technical documentation skills and ability to convert complex relationships into actionable technical requirements.
Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and data visualization capabilities.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and pay attention to detail.
Familiarity with business intelligence analytics tools and experience in coding languages such as Python or Snowflake is a plus.
Knowledge of the BetaNXT platform and certifications in financial industry practices or project management are preferred.
