Business Data Analyst (New Mobile Device Launch Experience)

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Wireless Technologies & New Business team, responsible for managing master data for mobile devices, accessories, packaging, and connected home products. The ideal candidate will have deep telecom and mobile network experience, strong data management skills, and the ability to drive complex product launch processes with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end process for launching mobile devices, collaborating with engineering, testing, product launch, and business management teams to ensure all requirements are met.

• Proactively identify and resolve deficiencies in product launch execution.

• Apply a deep understanding of mobile products, devices, and network requirements to ensure successful integration into wireless platforms.

• Manage device and accessories master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets, create new datasets, and support reporting needs.

• Perform data analysis, cleansing, and preparation to deliver high-quality data for business use.

• Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Maintain and update tracking systems such as JIRA for completed activities and report progress to leadership.

• Support production and staging migrations with accuracy and minimal downtime.

• Collaborate effectively across multiple teams to align with organizational priorities and launch timelines.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor s degree required.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product launch, mobile devices, or related telecom domains.

• Strong background in RDBMS with the ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.

• Working experience in the mobile device/service domain, with knowledge of industry terminology and business processes.

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including advanced Excel (macros, VLOOKUP, formulas).

• Experience with JIRA, data migration processes, and cross-functional coordination.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while also thriving in team-oriented environments.
