Job Details

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Power BI/AWS QuickSight Developer to join our Data Analytics team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights through dynamic dashboards and intuitive data visualizations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver scalable, high-performing reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and Amazon QuickSight.
  • Create compelling visual narratives that communicate data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Connect and integrate data from AWS Redshift, SQL Server, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all reports.
  • Write SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and preparation to support reporting requirements.
  • Build visually appealing, user-friendly, and interactive dashboards, incorporating filters, aggregations, DAX calculations, and advanced visual features.
  • Optimize dashboard and report performance, ensuring reliability and scalability across large datasets and multiple user groups.
  • Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, actionable solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, dashboards, and related processes to ensure reproducibility and operational efficiency.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience with Power BI and AWS QuickSight for report and dashboard development.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.
  • Familiarity with DAX formulas, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience connecting and integrating multiple data sources, including AWS Redshift and SQL-based systems.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
