Job Title: Business Intelligence Architect III

Industry: Public Sector / Government Services
Duration: 6 Months Contract W2 (Likely extension)
Location: Remote within Wisconsin (Must be a current WI resident)
Schedule: 40 hrs/week (Mon Fri, 7:45 AM 4:30 PM Central)

Position Overview

The consultant will perform data warehousing architecture, design, and management, along with Business Objects and Informatica development tasks. This role supports both new and existing BI environments within a large, complex enterprise ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage enterprise data warehouse structures
    Perform ETL development using Informatica
    Develop reporting and analytics content using Business Objects
    Support enhancements and maintenance of existing BI environments
    Participate in system design, testing, and deployment activities
    Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze reporting needs
    Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across BI systems
    Document system processes, architecture, and operational workflows
    Provide technical expertise for BI best practices, standards, and optimization
    Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications (At least 7+ years)

  • Data warehouse design and development experience
    Hands-on ETL development using Informatica
    Business Objects development (reports, universes, dashboards)
    Strong understanding of BI architecture and enterprise data environments
    Ability to work in a large, fast-paced, complex organization
    Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience gathering and interpreting business requirements
    Prior experience supporting government, insurance, accounting, or case management systems
    Background working in large-scale public-sector or enterprise BI programs
