Job Details

Title: Business Professional - Logistics Specialist

Location: Santa Ana,CA
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$24.01-$34.30/Hrs

Description
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.
Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
Compile reports on inventory levels and costs.
Perform financial forecasting and variance analysis.
Conduct month-end closing processes and inventory management.
Support audit and risk management requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Examine documents, materials, and products to assess completeness and accuracy.
Review production schedules and work orders to determine personnel and materials requirements.
Record production data, including volume produced and quality control measures.
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies.
Revise production schedules due to design changes or material shortages.
Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.

Qualifications
Strong skills in spreadsheet software are a must.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Organized and detail-oriented.
General knowledge of logistics and/or supply chain.
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems.
College/Bachelor's Degree.
2 years of experience in a business finance or logistics environment.
