Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a critical project involving the FISCAL system migration for a public sector client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with California state or other government agencies, and a solid background in both Oracle and PeopleSoft environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business processes and system requirements.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and validate functional and technical requirements.
Support migration activities related to the FISCAL system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and project managers.
Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to support business needs.
Ensure that solutions meet business objectives and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the public sector or state government projects.
Hands-on experience with FISCAL system migration is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Oracle and PeopleSoft systems.
Ability to work in a hybrid model partial onsite presence in Sacramento, CA required.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
Local to Sacramento, CA.
Previous experience working with California state departments or agencies.
