Position Title: Business Systems Analyst (Contract)
Location:

• Preferred: Pittsburgh, PA
• Remote: Acceptable if not located in PA
• Travel: Possible quarterly travel for planning if remote

• Days: Monday Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST (flexible)
• Time Zones: EST or CST

Contract Details:

• Contract-to-hire potential (candidates must be open to converting to full-time)

Team & Function

• Group: Digital Transformation Online Banking & Employee-facing Lending Systems
• Projects: 75% ongoing initiatives, 25% new initiatives
• Team Composition: 4 Product Owners, BAs, summer interns
• Industry Background Preferred: Financial services or banking

Role & Responsibilities

Looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy Business Systems Analyst to support Retail Lending Servicing, specifically Credit Card journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery and analysis across front- and back-end systems.
• Research APIs (documentation review, capability assessment, integration validation).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Translate needs into clear epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Partner with QA and development teams to support testing and validate solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents (root cause analysis, customer impact, prevention).
• Document process flows, system interactions, and functional specifications.
