Position: Senior Business Systems Analyst
Location: 670 East Gilbert Street, San Bernardino CA 92415 (Onsite)
Rate: $70/hr on C2C

About the Role:
Are you an experienced Business Systems Analyst looking for a new challenge? The Innovation and Technology Department of San Bernardino County is seeking a talented individual to join our team. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, determining requirements, and utilizing best practices to implement those requirements. This role requires a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Software Development methodologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of BSA experience with at least 1 year as a Lead or PM
• Government clients experience preferred
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis
• Experience with custom software development processes
• Proficient in Agile tools such as Azure Boards and Microsoft TFS
• Familiarity with PowerBI and reporting dashboard tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements and develop functional/technical specifications
• Coordinate project efforts with varying degrees of complexity and deadlines
• Communicate effectively with executive management, supervisors, and colleagues
• Problem-solve, design, and implement solutions
• Create detailed project documents including charters, business requirements, and recommendation reports
• Interact with end users, developers, and act in a lead capacity for other technical staff

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor s degree in information management, Computer Science, Business/Public Administration, or related field
• At least 3 years experience in business systems analysis, with at least one year in a lead role
• Experience with drafting use case scenarios, test cases, and procurement processes
