Job Description:

Duration: 12 months (extended depending on the scope of the project)

Location: Portland, OR (Onsite in hybrid working model - Locals Preferred)

Strong experience in C++, C#, and Windows.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• At least 8 or more years of experience in software development.
• Must have actual experience with C sharp, C++ and Windows programming
• Professional hands-on experience with 8-9 years with designing and developing applications using C sharp, C++, and various databases in a highly scaled web environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate challenging or technical concepts
• Full software development lifecycle experience, must be comfortable working using Agile as well as iterative methodologies;
• Experience with Test-driven development using tools like JUnit and Selenium  as well as JMeter, and JProfile to spot performance issues and memory leaks;
• Development in semiconductor experience preferred
• This position requires international and domestic travel for business purposes – up to 30%

Hands-on development, documentation and testing of distributed applications;

Researching and resolving complex software and system problems

Designing and simplifying user interfaces and documenting them

Creating architectures and complex designs independently and documenting them

Integrate and test software to confirm compliance with specifications;

Developing functional specifications

Finding and fixing complex errors in any software

Participate in design reviews, code reviews and test reviews;

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

Ability to investigate and apply new technologies

Ability to improve the software development process

Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent relationship building skills

Self-sufficient, self-reliant, and self-disciplined, but also able to operate effectively as part of a team

EDUCATION:

B.S. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
