Job Description:

Description: Position- CMDB Analyst is responsible for administering and executing the configuration management process and ensuring CMDB data integrity. This role will be responsible for ensuring the CMDB is up to date with best practices for the CSDM model. This role works closely with the IT Service Now System Admin and all process owners within IT.
Job Responsiblities
As part of management of CMDB, this role will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and make sure relationships to promote correct alignment with CSDM practices
Implement best practice support of collection of up-to-date interrelated CI in ServiceNow CMDB about all CI items in CMDB
Implement and Support automated entry of CI items with in the CMDB for population of data
Work with Stake holders to ensure full CI data is inserted in the CMDB
Assist ServiceNow defining and registering CI in the appropriate class with the defined attributes.
Responsible for reporting on completeness of verification of data and where the cleanup is constructed at specific times
Assist in implementing a formal CMDB governance model and creation of key performance indicators
Perform troubleshooting of discovery methods and assist with setting up integrations for entry of data into the CMDB
Education
Associate degree
Requirements
5 + years experience working in servicenow
3+ years working with CMDB
Understanding of CSDM principles in ServiceNow
Hours -9-5 CST
Position is remote but may require travel
Travel is 10-25%
