This is a hands-on role involving advanced CNC programming, tooling optimization, and close collaboration with engineering and production teams to support safe, high-quality output for nuclear fuel assemblies.

The Richland facility is a cornerstone of the company's U.S. operations, focused on manufacturing nuclear fuel for commercial power reactors across North America. The site includes a wide range of precision machining equipment, automation systems, and quality assurance tools within a regulated, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC programming within a regulated or high-precision manufacturing environment
Proficiency with G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, or similar)
Experience working with multi-axis mills, lathes, and complex fixturing
Familiarity with close-tolerance machining, inspection protocols, and documentation practices
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and cycle time optimization

Requirements:
Ability to develop, test, and revise CNC programs for critical components
Work cross-functionally with engineers, machinists, and QA to ensure part conformance
Support continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, and production efficiency
Comfort working in a regulated environment with strict adherence to procedural and safety standards
Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a team-focused setting

Westinghouse values precision, accountability, and a deep commitment to nuclear safety. This is a unique opportunity for a CNC Programmer to contribute to mission-critical work in the clean energy sector while operating in a collaborative and technically advanced environment.

Offer:
Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off
Position based in Richland County, South Carolina
