KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Salesforce Certifications are preferred (Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Programmer, and Developer).
- Previous experience working in higher education.
- Experience with JavaScript, Apex, and other front-end technologies.
- Experience with custom SDLC processes such as code versioning, packaging, test driven development (TDD), continuous integration, test automation, code analysis and code quality metrics.
- Experience with Agile development methods and practices.
- Ability to foster new ideas and concepts.
- Ability to mentor and coach other developers.
- Ability to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with staff, peers, supervisors, or managers in the work unit and other departments, as well as with staff of outside entities as applicable to the essential duties and responsibilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of college organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, critical thinking skills, analytical thinking effectively able to manage workflow, and ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Ability to prioritize, set goals, and objectives, and flow-through to completion.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative work style and ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrate commitment to being a team player.
- Communicate in English effectively oral and in writing.
