Our client, a leader in the metrology industry, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Calibration Technician

Location: North Kingstown, RI
Temp to Perm position

Pay Range: $21-23

Shift: 2nd- 3:30PM-11:30PM

What's the Job?

  • Understand the Metrology Portable Service ISO 17025 Quality Systems.
  • Aide with performing accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of customer equipment to appropriate standards.
  • Assist with documenting and reporting results, providing certification traceable to N.I.S.T and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Maintain company equipment in good working order and ensure equipment selected for use is calibrated and current.
  • Learn from and study experienced Calibration Technicians techniques and work.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in Calibration of PCMM's and/or Machine repair.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and understanding of SMax.
