Must have 10+ years of experience related to PCB's (printed circuit boards), SMT, PCBA, electronics manufacturing.
Customer facing is a must. up to 25% travel
Salary is very dependent on your experience directly with PCB's.
$180,000-$225,000/year
Position Overview
The Chief Engineering Officer (CEO) is responsible for leading the engineering department, overseeing all engineering activities, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role involves driving innovation, process improvement, and engineering excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering department to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that foster innovation and improve processes.
- Oversee product development from conception to launch, ensuring engineering excellence throughout the lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage engineering budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to meet project goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality assurance standards in all engineering projects.
- Drive technical expertise and innovation in manufacturing processes, including PCB and PCBA.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams to enhance skills and career growth.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior engineering role, ideally as a Chief Engineering Officer or similar.
- Strong background in manufacturing, PCB, and electronics engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team development and management.
- Expertise in product development, project management, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in an engineering context.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commitment to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and process improvement.
