Network Engineer
3-year contract

HighLights
The successful candidates' primary responsibilities will be implementing network lifecycle projects, doing code upgrades, and rotating on-call support troubleshooting network and client issues. The data network support includes, but is not limited to firewalls, routing/switching, wireless LAN, and network security services. Skill Use
Understanding current network architecture and design to successfully implement new and lifecycle projects to avoid or minimize network outage durations. Troubleshooting network and client connectivity issues.
Must have Skills
Strong knowledge of both Cisco wired and wireless LAN network infrastructure technologies.
Configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Cisco Catalyst switches 9K (chassis and fixed port).
Configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Cisco routers (ISR 4K, Catalyst 8K).
Configuration and deployment of Cisco 9800 wireless controllers, access points and integration with authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) systems in accordance with policies.
Strong knowledge of network and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, CAPWAP, etc.).
Day-Day
Implementing lifecycle projects. Work with field technicians to schedule date, submit change case, bring new equipment online, test, update documentation, close out project. On-call is 3 days in a row every 5-7 weeks. Troubleshoot and resolve network and client issues.
