Job Details

Summary
This role will support a major network and data center transition, ensuring stable operations, correct access controls, and updated configurations across a Cisco-based environment. The Sr. Network Engineer will work within an established network team to implement changes, validate configurations, and maintain reliable infrastructure during a multi-month takeover effort.
Responsibilities

  • Manage core network and data center environments.
  • Update and validate access permissions.
  • Configure routing and switching platforms.
  • Implement ICE settings across network hardware.
  • Review, test, and apply new configurations.
  • Follow established change management practices.
  • Operate within a fully Cisco ecosystem.
  • Support transition activities related to network ownership change.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers.
  • Ability to manage configuration updates and change workflows.
  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, and enterprise network operations.

Preferred

  • Experience with Cisco 9300 switches.
  • Firewall exposure.
  • 5 years of network engineering experience.
  • CCNP certification.
