Job Title: Cisco Meraki Administrator
Department: IT Infrastructure / Network Operations
Location: Jersey City, NJ

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cisco Meraki Administrator to manage, configure, and support our organization s Meraki-based network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable and secure connectivity across all sites, optimizing network performance, and implementing best practices in Meraki dashboard management.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki network devices including switches, access points, security appliances (MX), and cameras.
Manage and monitor network performance using the Meraki Dashboard.
Configure and maintain VPNs, VLANs, SSIDs, firewalls, and content filtering.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, both wired and wireless, and coordinate with ISPs or vendors as needed.
Implement firmware updates, patches, and configuration backups.
Maintain documentation for network topology, device inventory, and configuration changes.
Enforce network security policies and monitor for unauthorized access or anomalies.
Collaborate with the IT team to support users, systems, and new site deployments.
Provide technical support and user assistance related to network access and connectivity.
Assist in network capacity planning and future infrastructure upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki solutions (MX, MS, MR, MV).
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, routing, and switching concepts.
Experience managing Meraki Cloud Dashboard and site-to-site VPN configurations.
Familiarity with network monitoring and alerting tools.
Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Cisco Meraki certifications (e.g., CMNA, CMNO, or CMSS).
Experience with SD-WAN and cloud-managed networking.
Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, API integrations).
Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise network environments.

Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)
Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (for integration and user access management)
