Location: Vancouver, WA

Client: Bonneville Power Administration

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: $65/hr. on W2

Number of Days Onsite per Week: 3 days per two-week period. Subject to change.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Corresponding Experience (required on matrix):

• Bachelor s degree in structural engineering, civil engineering or a closely related engineering field is required.
• 10 years of practical engineering experience is required.
• Must have knowledge of engineering concepts, principals, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system.

Required Technical Skills & Experience (required on matrix):

• 3 years of experience in the following:
  • Designs using the current International Building Code (IBC) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ACSE) 7 and 10.
  • Industry-specific design codes such as IBC family of codes and industry designs standards such as American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), National Design Specification (NDS), and American Concrete Institute (ACI).
  • Structural analysis software such as SAP2000, RISA, tnxTower, PLS-POLE, and other commercially available products.
  • Modern structural analysis techniques.
  • Proficient with standard Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
