Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer
This is a Full-Time (W2) Remote Position supporting a large Healthcare Organization s Federal Clients. Full benefits, PTO, and paid holidays are inclusive to this position.

Requirements: ship Work Status Authorization; Public Trust Clearance; Supported a Federal Government Agency/Projects within the past 2 years; Completed Bachelor s Degree or 7+ years of additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor s Degree; 5+ years of professional experience including Agile Software Development & customizing ServiceNow applications, Automated Test Framework (ATF), Hands-On technical experience in ServiceNow- Field Service Management (FSM), Order Fulfillment/management, Document Lifecycle Management, ITSM, CSM, GRC/ITR; Professional Certifications in ServiceNow is Highly Preferred- ServiceNow Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals
Salary Target: $105K- $120K/YR (Salary is flexible based on the relevant professional experience and background related to the position)
Job Description:
The Sr. ServiceNow Software Engineer will play a key role: working within our legacy application as we update it to a cloud-native platform which follows modern design standards.
- Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items.
- Works closely with lead engineer to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
- Collaborates closely with Product Analysts on developing requirements and may assist with estimating.
- Instills best practices for software development and documentation, assures designs meet requirements, and delivers high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Translates business requirements and designs into technical solutions, recommends alternative technical and business approaches, and leads engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
- Operational Excellence building, deploying, monitoring, and operation of production services.
- Mentors other software engineers.
- Leads engineering efforts for their feature team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field or related field or 7 years relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years experience in full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment.
- Hands-on technical expertise in ServiceNow areas:
- Field Service Management (FSM)
- Order Fulfillment/Management
- Document Lifecycle Management
- ITSM
- CSM
- Experience with developing Custom applications.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience leading a ServiceNow development project.
- Experience partnering with outsourced development teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Application Developer Certification.
- Completed ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals (SNAF).
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning & configuration management.
- Basic understanding of networking and internet protocols.
